If there is no heating at all and the boiler shows a fault, start with Boiler Repairs.
When the heating isn't right, the fault can sit anywhere between the boiler and the furthest radiator. Gareth works on wet central heating systems: radiators that are cold at the bottom or the top, rooms that never warm up, banging or gurgling pipes, pressure that keeps dropping, and controls that don't do what they should.
Finding the cause
Gareth looks at the whole system rather than one radiator. A radiator cold at the top usually needs bleeding; cold at the bottom often points to sludge. If several rooms are struggling, the pump, a zone valve or the system balance may be the issue. He explains what he has found and the options before any work starts.
