A new boiler is a big purchase, and the right one depends on your home rather than the brochure. Gareth is Gas Safe registered (number 520810) and installs gas boilers across Caterham and the nearby towns, whether that is a swap for a failing boiler or a change of system.
The survey
Before quoting, Gareth looks at the existing boiler, the number of radiators, how many people use hot water at once, and where the flue and condensate pipe can go. A combi suits many homes; a system boiler with a cylinder can suit busier households with more than one bathroom. He will explain which fits and why.
Installation day
The old boiler is taken out, the new one is fitted and connected, and the system is filled, tested and commissioned. Gareth shows you how the controls work before he leaves.
